Join us as we collect specific food items for the Children's Hunger Fund (CHF) food pak project. Their mission is to partner with the Local Church to provide food pak meals to children. It is an avenue to spread the Gospel with families going through a difficult season. Our goal is to assemble 250 boxes and our request as part of the Serve project is that each family sponsors at least 2 food paks (each pak serves 1 child in our local community). CHF requests a specific list of food items (list found below) for the individual boxes. This is a great opportunity to invite family, friends, and neighbors to participate. Food Collection will be from June 29-through July 6. CHF Food List: 1 pkg of spaghetti (16oz) 1 can of tomato sauce (15oz) 1 can of vegetables (15oz) 1 can of beans-pinto or black (15.5oz) 2 cans of tuna (5oz each) 4 pouches of gummy fruit snacks (0.9 oz each) 2 fruit/applesauce squeeze pouches (3.2oz each) 4 cereal/granola bars (1.3oz each) 1 jar of peanut butter (16oz) We look forward to serving alongside you.
